Online collections and Social Inclusion: Challenge of the Access to the Information in Brazil

In a society ruled by relationships of inclusion and exclusion, the access to information and technologies become strategic points for the development of a full and democratic society. In this new context, this work treats the accessibility of people with deficiencies to the files, from the perspective that TICs (Technologies of Information and Communication) should be the tools capable of providing effective access to the information through the use of digitized collections. The use of these tools makes it possible for people with deficiencies to access sites of files of public access in a friendly manner and with total independence.
