TELEMETA, An Audio Content Management System for the Web.

The multimedia Web application TELEMETA is on line since 2011, to access to traditional music of "Musée de l'Homme". It is specifically designed to give access to audio archives and their associated metadata, for natives populations and researchers. The purpose is to enhance the availability of data from the database catalog, according to common standards and interoperability.
The time-based nature of audio-visual materials raises issues of access and visualization. As these resources are a patrimonial material, it is important to allow their access and management, according to the different access profiles.
